Maintenance Multicraft Electrician

Candidate must work third shift (10pm-6am) overtime required
Performs electrical repairs and maintains, in accordance with diagrams, sketches, operation manuals, and manufacturer's specifications, machinery and mechanical equipment, such as engines, motors, pneumatic tools, conveyor systems, and production machines and equipment, using hand tools, power tools, and precision-measuring and testing instruments: Observes mechanical devices in operation and listens to their sounds to locate causes of trouble. Dismantles devices to gain access to and remove defective parts, using hoists, cranes, hand tools, and power tools.
Adjusts functional parts of devices and control instruments, using hand tools, levels, and straightedges. Repairs or replaces defective parts, using hand tools and power tools. Perform mechanical repairs as well as preventive maintenance on various machines and equipment.
Advanced technical training and certifications in electricity are highly preferred. Journeyman level work experience is highly preferred.
Experience with CNC controls and electrical circuits, Hydraulic & pneumatics experience. Must be a problem solver that is capable of troubleshooting a machine if something goes wrong. Understands CNC machines and knows their capabilities and limitations.
Possess at least 10 years of experience or equivalent education in facility maintenance with a working knowledge of maintenance methods and equipment across the disciplines with special emphasis in electrical work. Must be Computer literate.
Demonstrated history of a positive attitude, self-motivated behavior, and good team work skills.
Able to read and interpret blue prints, and use precision measuring devices.
Able to operate various machines including side loader, manlift, forklifts.
Mechanical aptitude in working with a variety of machines. (Advanced shop math skills to include calculation of machine cycle times, operational efficiencies, a plus).
Understands and utilizes shop safety requirements.
Must be a problem solver that is capable of troubleshooting a machine if something goes wrong.
Physical requirements necessary to perform essential job functions are: - Sitting, bending, twisting, standing, climbing and/or walking for an extended period of time, Light lifting on a repetitive basis or lifting on an occasional basis of approximately 30 lbs, infrequently 50 lbs., Visual acuity, Depth perception, Eye-hand coordination, Ability to concentrate for extended periods of time and the ability to withstand work temperature changes.
$25.95 hour starting
Drug screen, background check and pre-employment testing and orientation are required
