Traveling Preventive Maintenance Technician

Salary
$40,000-45,000 annually based on experience.
Other Incentives
$35 daily per diem
$125 per night hotel allowance

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Saturday
3 weeks on the road followed by one week of paid time off
Traveling Preventive Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Follow a schedule of assigned calls for routine maintenance of products.
• Travel for extended periods of time to locations throughout the country.
• Work independently to complete maintenance orders.
• Installs, replaces, or changes machine parts and attachments, according to task specifications.
• Ensure equipment is functioning correctly and record all work performed using company software.
• Execute preventive maintenance for all equipment.
• Lubricate or apply other materials to machines, machine parts, or other equipment, according to specified procedures.
Traveling Preventive Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma, GED
• Willing to travel nationwide for 100% of job duties for extended periods.
• Strong mechanical background with great attention to detail.
• Experience with detailing and assembling is a plus.
• Food and Beverage equipment service & maintenance experience is a plus.
• Excellent critical thinking skills, organizational skills, and ability to communicate clearly and concisely verbally and in writing.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule to meet demands.
• Must have own set of hand tools.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Drug screening, background check, and driving record search required at time of hire.
