WAREHOUSE ORDER SELECTOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Warehouse Order Selectors for a company based in Plant City, FL. In this job, you will have the opportunity to work for a leading producer of fresh produce.
Pay Rate
$14.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Sunday to Friday from 2:00 PM – 12:00 AM overtime required as needed.
Warehouse Order Selector Duties and Responsibilities
- Utilize pick lists and handheld scanners to accurately select and assemble customer orders based on product specifications and quantity requirements.
- Safely operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to transport and maneuver pallets of produce.
- Inspect and verify products for quality, freshness, and accuracy before packing and shipping.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures regarding safety, sanitation, and inventory management.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and supervisors to achieve daily production goals and maintain efficient workflow.
Warehouse Order Selector Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma/GED
- Must be able to work in a refrigerated environment.
- Previous experience as a warehouse order selector or similar role in a fast-paced environment, preferably within the food or produce industry.
- Ability to lift and carry heavy objects (up to 50 lbs) and work in a physically demanding role.
- Proficiency in using handheld scanners.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in product selection and order fulfillment.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
