Abrasive Blaster
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Abrasive Blaster for a company based in Spartanburg, Sc. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be responsible for preparing surfaces by cleaning, smoothing, or etching them using various abrasive materials. Pay Rate
$17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate abrasive blasting equipment (e.g., sandblasters, pressure pots) to clean or prepare surfaces.
• Inspect surfaces before and after blasting to ensure they meet quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on blasting equipment.
• Follow all safety protocols to minimize risks associated with abrasive materials, dust, and high-pressure equipment.
• Maintain proper documentation and records of work completed and materials used.
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
• Previous experience in abrasive blasting or surface preparation is preferred.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to wear protective gear (like respirators, gloves, and protective suits) for extended periods.
• Ability to identify equipment issues or inconsistencies in the blasting process and take appropriate corrective actions.
