Job Description

Accounting Clerk
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Accounting Clerk for a company based in Cypress, Tx.

Pay Rate
$18 - $20 per hour

Schedule and Hours
12- 20 hours a week (hybrid or remote work)
 
 
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Journal Entries
• General Ledger 
• Credit cards registers - statement invoicing and receipt reconciliations
• Processing invoices
• Organizing office mail
• Recording business transactions
• Managing customer accounts
• Providing administrative assistance to accountants
• Preparing financial reports
• Handling communications with vendors, clients, and internal departments
• Assisting with inventory, database, and record maintenance
• Issuing checks and making deposits
 
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 2-3 years’ experience 
• Practical knowledge of bookkeeping, spreadsheet programs, and accounting software.
• Ethical behavior when dealing with sensitive financial information.
• Relevant work experience in support roles or internships.
• Knowledge of accounting procedures and principles, accuracy, efficiency, and good communication skills.
