Accounting Support Agent
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a skilled Data Support Agent for a company based in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting the accounting department with various accounting tasks.
Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
Accounting Support Agent Duties and Responsibilities:
• Follow up with supplier and Customers to obtain updated info for returned payments and outstanding checks.
• Create entries for misc deposits.
• Review expense vouchers and backups to check compliance with company policies and UN GAAP.
• Enter closing adjustment vouchers such as Accrual expenses.
• Provide guidelines and support to each department to ensure all accounting transactions are properly booked and reported in a timely manner.
• Analyze monthly fluctuations of revenues, costs and expenses by examining general ledgers, sales reports, inventory reports etc. and determine if there are any closing adjustments needed to correct errors.
• Other duties as assigned.
Accounting Support Agent Qualifications and Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting and related majors preferred.
• Minimum of 2 years accounting and related majors experience preferred.
• Proficient skill in use of personal computer including software applications (Word, Excel, Outlook).
• Proficiency with Excel is a must.
• Detail oriented with strong administrative and Organizational background.
• Ability to prioritize and multitask in order to meet deadlines.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Positive and proactive attitude.
• Reliable individual with strong desire to fulfill obligations.
