Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable for a company based in East Tampa, FL In this role, you will play a vital role in managing the financial transactions of a leading manufacturer of Asian food products.
Pay Rate
$20.00 - $24.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.
Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Duties and Responsibilities
- Process and manage accounts payable transactions, including invoice verification, approval, and payment processing.
- Handle accounts receivable duties, including invoice generation, payment collection, and reconciliation.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions in the accounting system.
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to resolve billing discrepancies and payment inquiries.
- Assist in monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.
- Monitor and manage aged accounts to ensure timely collections and payments.
- Prepare reports and provide data for financial analysis and audits.
- Support other finance-related tasks and projects as needed.
Accounts Payable / Accounts Receivable Qualifications and Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- 2+ years of experience in accounts payable and accounts receivable roles.
- Strong understanding of financial principles and practices.
- Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar systems) and Microsoft Excel.
- Attention to detail with strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in the food manufacturing industry is a plus, but not required.
