Accounts Payable Specialist
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist for a company based in North Houston, Tx.
Pay Rate
$25.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 5:00pm
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Process and manage vendor invoices and payment requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate accounts payable records and documentation.
• Assist in payroll processing, ensuring accurate and timely payment to employees.
• Administer employee benefits programs, including enrollment, changes, and terminations.
• Reconcile accounts payable and payroll discrepancies and resolve issues as they arise.
• Prepare and analyze reports related to accounts payable and payroll activities.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and accounting regulations.
• Collaborate with other departments to support overall financial operations.
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes.
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounts payable, payroll, or a related role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
