Job Description
Accounts Receivable Specialist
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a direct hire Accounts Receivable Specialist for a company located in Marietta, Georgia. In this role, you will be responsible for performing an array of accounts receivable functions such as processing receipts and credit applications, managing client files and inquiry requests, handling deposits and credit verification, and other related duties.
Pay Rate
$25 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Process receipts, credit applications, and open new accounts.
- Research and maintain credit files
- Prepare and process cash/check deposits with the bank.
- Verify credit and enter finalized receipts into JDE system.
- Research, process, and mail invoice payments, charge backs, returns, and bad checks.
- Handle accounts receivable inquiries via telephone and email.
- Other related job duties as assigned.
Accounts Receivable Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED Required
- Associates degree or equivalent from two-year College or technical school; or six months to one-year related accounts receivable experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Strong administrative background with proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and JDE accounting software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Drug screening and background check required.
