Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Administrative Assistant for a company based in Chantilly, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to primarily be responsible for general office duties.

$22.00-$25.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 30 am to 4 00 pm.

Administrative Assistant Duties and Responsibilities
• Entering and maintaining information into the Member database as needed.
• Gathering, packaging and shipping items ordered through an online ordering system. (These items are small and lightweight and do not require lifting over 50 lbs.)
• Reviewing received email and answering questions, gathering needed information and/or performing data entry/maintenance as is pertinent, and responding back to the sender with appropriate responses.
• Answering incoming phone calls from members and others and providing them with the appropriate information and or action needed for their request.
• Assisting with gathering and organizing information needed for the publication of the quarterly newsletter.
• Assisting with gathering and organizing information and other materials for the semi-annual conventions.

Administrative Assistant Qualifications and Requirements
• 3 years’ experience working in an office or customer service environment
• Thorough knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• General knowledge of QuickBooks
• Good Communications skills, both oral and written
• Must pass a criminal background check, and drug screen
