Electrical Assembler
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Electrical Assembler for a reputable manufacturer of industrial laundry equipment in Kenner. In this role, you will be responsible for performing an array of mechanical/electrical assembly duties, using hand and air tools. If you have at least 3 years of electrical and mechanical assembly experience and are dependable and team-oriented, we invite you to apply.
Pay Rate
$15.75 - $17.75 per hour.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday
First Shift: 6:00 am until 4:30 pm.
Second Shift: 4:00 pm to 2:30 am.
Electrical Assembler Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be able to understand written and verbal instructions
- Must have mechanical/electrical assembly experience
- Must be experienced working with hand/air tools
- Must be experienced with all or most of the following…
- Belt Assemblies
- Safety switch assembly
- Door assembly
- Rail plan
- Bed frame assembly
- Rollers
- Drive assembly
- Slack chain assembly
- Sprinklers, Leg/scale Kits
- Shell & Cylinder
- Wiring & Install drive
- Motor mount assembly
- Valve assembly
- Piping assembly
- Supply assembly
- Hydro cushion assembly
- Hydraulic assembly
- Cosmetic fronts
- Auto lint kits
- Ducting
- Rail supports
- P- tickets
- Final setup/Tear down
Electrical Assembler Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED certificate (preferred)
• Stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds (Lifting Assessment to be given in office)
