Assembly Warehouse Associate
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Assembly Warehouse Associate for a company based in Marietta, GA that produces industrial roller chains. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for assembling and disassembling industrial chain products and other related warehouse job duties.
Pay Rate
$18.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Associates are off an hour early on Fridays to get a jump start on the weekend!!
Assembly Warehouse Associate Duties and Responsibilities
• Assemble and disassemble chain products and add or remove specific attachments in accordance with order specifications and drawings.
• Pick and pull inventory with standup order pickers, forklifts, and by hand while tracking inventory use through handheld scanners and manual logs.
• Use hand tools, power tools, drill presses, and machine shop tools for assembly/disassembly.
• Palletize, shrink wrap, box, and label products for shipments.
• Maintaining an orderly and neat work area to ensure compliance safety compliance.
Assembly Warehouse Associate Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
• Previous assembly, standup order picker, forklift, and handheld scanner pulling experience required.
• Strong communication skills when collaborating with supervisors and other departments including shipping departments, customer service reps, and sales personnel.
• Required to complete a lifting assessment.
• Drug test and Background check required
