Assistant Machine Operators
Automation Personnel Services is seeking motivated and detail-oriented Assistant Machine Operators on multiple shifts for a manufacturing company in Ball Ground, GA. This role involves inspecting, packaging production-related products, and assisting with manufacturing while assisting in achieving the company's daily production goals. Pay Rate, Schedule, and Hours
*Positions available on all three shifts!*
1st shift: $17.00 per hour, Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
2nd shift: $17.50 per hour, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
2nd shift: $17.50 per hour, Monday through Friday, 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM
3rd shift: $18.00 per hour, Monday through Friday, 11:00 PM to 7:30 AM
Assistant Machine Operators Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform inspections of products using visual methods and tools such as calipers to ensure all production meets quality standards.
• Complete all required quality control checks, labeling, and documentation accurately and on time.
• Ensure packaging materials are stocked, organized, and maintained at minimum inventory levels.
• Store finished products properly to maintain an organized workspace.
• Assist with die changeovers and on-line die cleaning functions.
• Support maintenance by entering work orders for any needed repairs.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area in compliance with housekeeping standards.
• Adhere to all safety guidelines and promptly report safety-related incidents.
• Additional job duties as assigned by management
Assistant Machine Operators Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1-2 years of material handling or machine operating experience required.
• Experience using measuring tools including tape measures or calipers.
• Effective oral and written communication skills and computer skills.
• Must be able to organize and manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Drug screening and background check are required
• Ability to lift up to 75lbs unassisted, in office lifting assessment is required.
