Job Description

ASSISTANT PRODUCTION MANAGER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced Assistant Production Manager for a flooring manufacturer based in Adairsville, GA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to manage production operations in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Pay Rate 
$85,000-$90,000 per year

Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 4 00 pm.

Assistant Production Manager Duties and Responsibilities
• Coordinate with the production team to ensure production targets are met and deadlines are achieved. 
• Implement production process quality control procedures to ensure products meet company standards and customer specifications.
• Continuously evaluate manufacturing processes to identify areas for improvement in efficiency, productivity, and cost-effectiveness. 
• Lead and supervise production staff, including machine operators, technicians, and quality control inspectors. 
• Collaborate with other departments such as sales, logistics, quality control, and maintenance to ensure alignment of production activities with overall business goals.

Assistant Production Manager Qualifications and Requirements 
• Bachelor’s degree (or college graduate with more experience) in engineering, manufacturing, operations management, or related field.
• Proven experience in a production management role within the flooring industry or a similar manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of flooring production processes an familiarity with techniques specific to flooring manufacturing. 
• Proficiency in production planning and scheduling software.
• Knowledge of health and safety regulations and best practices in a manufacturing setting.
