Automotive Mechanic Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a skilled and experienced Automotive Mechanic/Technician for a company based in Houston, Texas (Northwest). The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in automotive maintenance, repair, and diagnostics, along with excellent customer service skills.
Pay Rate
$30 - $60 per flag hour (depending on experience)
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Saturday 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
Automotive Mechanic Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Perform diagnostic tests to identify vehicle issues and determine the best repair methods.
• Conduct routine automotive maintenance, including oil changes, tire rotations, and brake replacements.
• Perform state inspections and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
• Complete automotive repairs such as engine repairs, transmission work, and electrical troubleshooting.
• Test drive vehicles in the parking lot to confirm proper functioning and ensure repairs have resolved the issues.
• Provide excellent customer service by explaining repair needs, options, and costs to customers in a clear and professional manner.
Automotive Mechanic Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• Hight School Diploma or GED
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an Automotive Mechanic/Technician.
• Extensive knowledge of vehicle systems and components.
• Ability to run diagnostics and identify issues accurately.
• Strong understanding of automotive repair procedures and maintenance.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication skills and a commitment to customer service.
• A valid driver's license.
