Bilingual Production Supervisor-Lead
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Bilingual Production Supervisor-Lead for a company based in Pelham, AL. In this position you will be responsible for production quantity and quality, supervising production employees for a company that has provided innovative panel solutions for use in a wide variety of industries for over 20 years.
Pay Rate
$22-$24 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday; will start on 1st shift 4:00am to 2:00pm but must be flexible to move to the 2nd shift 2:00pm to midnight.
Bilingual Production Supervisor-Lead- Duties and Responsibilities
- To supervise and ensure a high level of quality is being produced. This includes watching the employees, to ensure they are following the company’s SOP for panel building, ensuring that the panels produced are of the correct weight and size, ensure the material is correct for the panel and the placement of material is correctly done, it is cut to the proper length.
- Have knowledge of machine settings, pressures, robot set up, flow rates, calculations of panel building, monitor temperatures on presses and mixing machines.
- Producing panels in an active manner while following panel building SOP
- Employees are meeting or exceeding their quoted number of panels.
- To follow safety protocol with the use of PPE
- Be on the floor supervising.
- Check, follow through, monitor and manage the quality control paperwork.
- Assign trainers to train new employees.
- Manage the lead and chemical handler.
- Supervisors and leads must clock in 15 minutes prior to start of shift and 15 minutes after shift ends to tie in with incoming supervisor and lead.
Bilingual Production Supervisor- Lead- Qualifications and Requirements
- Positive, can-do, solutions-oriented attitude.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills; intermediate general computer skills.
- Flexible, adaptable approach; ability to adjust to changing business conditions and learn new processes.
- Able to communicate to personnel, duties, expectations and give marching orders as required to ensure production is being managed at the highest level.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. on occasion
- Able to walk and stand 8-12 hours per day.
