BLENDING MACHINE OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Blending Machine Operator for a company based in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to advance your career while being a key part of a fast-growing manufacturer of vitamins and dietary supplements.
Pay Rate
$16.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
Blending Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate and monitor blending machines to mix ingredients according to specified formulas and batch records.
- Ensure that all blending equipment is set up and calibrated correctly before use.
- Follow established standard operating procedures (SOPs) and good manufacturing practices (GMP) to ensure product quality and safety.
- Inspect and verify that all raw materials meet quality standards before use in the blending process.
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of blending equipment to ensure optimal performance and hygiene.
- Document blending activities, including ingredient quantities, batch numbers, and any deviations or issues encountered.
- Collaborate with Quality Control and other production team members to address any quality or process concerns.
- Assist in troubleshooting equipment malfunctions and implementing corrective actions as needed.
Blending Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience operating blending or manufacturing equipment, preferably in the dietary supplement or related industry.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow precise instructions and formulas.
- Good mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Basic knowledge of quality control procedures and safety standards.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Physical ability to lift and move materials (50-75 pounds) and stand for extended periods.
