Bookkeeper
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Bookkeeper for a company based in Tuscaloosa, Alabama. In this role, you will have the opportunity to provide cost effective solutions while maintaining accurate financial records ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.
Pay Rate
$40-48K per year
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Maintain and update financial records, including ledgers, invoices, and receipts.
• Reconcile bank accounts, credit card statements and other financial records.
• Handle accounts payable ad accounts receivable
• Prepare financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow reports.
• Assist with budgeting and forecasting.
• Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies
• Process payroll and ensure accurate tax withholdings and filings
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero) and MS Office, particularly Excel
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of payroll and tax laws
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• High School Diploma or equivalent (required).
• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (preferred).
