Job Description
CDL Driver Class A
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working CDL Class A for a company based in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to primarily be responsible for operating a dump truck to move various materials.

CDL Class A Driver Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle, with a manual transmission
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, site supervisors, and other team members to provide status updates and receive instructions.
• Ensure proper loading and unloading of cargo in accordance with safety guidelines
• Operate dump trucks to transport loose materials such as sand, gravel, or dirt to and from construction sites
• Operate a Class A commercial vehicle, with a manual transmission

CDL Class A Driver Qualifications and Requirements
• MUST be able to drive manual transmission
• Valid Class A CDL license
• Must pass pre-employment drug screen (THC included), and criminal background
• 3 professional references, and copy of DMV record
• Previous experience as a dump truck driver
• Construction experience a plus
