CNC AXYZ Machine Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experienced CNC AXYZ Machine Operator for a company based in Clanton, AL. The CNC Operator will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining CNC machinery to fabricate parts with precision, ensuring all production tasks are completed efficiently and safely. This role is vital to ensure high-quality manufacturing of components and parts using AXYZ machines.

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 5:00 am to 3:30 pm.
CNC AXYZ Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities
AXYZ Machine Operation:
- Setup & Operation:
- Prepare and operate AXYZ CNC machines for tasks such as drilling, cutting, and milling of various materials.
- Read and understand blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications to determine the correct setup for the desired output.
- Programming:
- Translate task instructions into CNC commands using software to guide the AXYZ machines for precise operations.
- Optimize and adjust CNC programs as necessary to meet production requirements and enhance machine performance.
- Material Loading:
- Prepare and load raw materials, such as fiberglass, wood, or metal, onto the CNC machine as per the production plan.
- Ensure material is placed accurately to avoid errors during the machine cycle.
- Testing & Adjustments:
- Conduct test runs to verify the machine output aligns with the required specifications.
- Adjust machine settings, speeds, and feeds as needed to improve efficiency and quality.
- Monitoring:
- Monitor the CNC machine during operations to ensure smooth execution of tasks and troubleshoot any issues that arise.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a CNC operator, preferably with AXYZ machines or similar CNC systems.
- Proficiency in CNC machine operation, tooling, and precision measurement tools.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, mechanical drawings, and other technical documents.
- Mechanical aptitude, with a solid understanding of CNC processes and machine setups.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills to ensure high-quality output.
- Basic math skills for measuring and calibrating machine settings.
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with team members and supervisors.
