CNC LASER OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a CNC Laser Operator for a company based in Jefferson, Georgia. In this role, you will have the opportunity to grow with a team of experienced operators in a nationwide metals company operating and maintaining laser cutting machines, ensuring precise production of parts according to specifications.
Pay Rate
$20.00 to $23.00 Based on Experience
All Operators Start at $20.00 per hour for the initial one month training period
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 6 00 AM to 3 30 PM or 3 00 pm to 11 30 PM
CNC Laser Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Machine Operation & Setup: Operate, set up, and calibrate laser cutting machines to ensure accurate and precise cuts according to engineering specifications.
• Quality Control: Inspect and measure finished products to verify they meet quality standards, making necessary adjustments to maintain high precision.
• Troubleshooting & Maintenance: Identify and resolve issues with laser equipment, performing routine maintenance to prevent downtime and ensure optimal performance.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations, maintaining a clean and organized work environment to prevent accidents and ensure compliance.
• Material Handling: Manage the loading, alignment, and secure positioning of materials on the laser cutting machine to ensure accurate and efficient production.
CNC Laser Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• Prior experience operating laser cutting machines or similar CNC machinery in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings, blueprints, and specifications; ability to program and set up laser machines.
• Strong focus on precision and quality, with the ability to perform accurate measurements and inspections of finished parts.
• Skills in identifying and resolving issues with laser equipment, including performing routine maintenance and adjustments.
• A high school diploma or equivalent; vocational training in machining or a related field is often preferred.
