CNC MACHINE OPERATOR
 
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machine Operator for a reputable manufacturer of industrial laundry equipment in Kenner. In this role, you'll apply your CNC expertise at a long-established and well-regarded company. If you have at least 3 years of CNC Machine Operator experience and are dependable and team-oriented, we invite you to apply. 
 
Pay Rate 
$17.00 - $30.00 per hour based on experience
 
Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Thursday 
First Shift: 6:00 am until 4:30 pm. 
Second Shift: 4:00 pm to 2:30 am.
 
CNC Machine Operator Duties and Responsibilities. 
  • Understands the basic safe operation and concepts of the machine being trained on.
  • Able to interpret blue prints respective of these machine classes.
  • Must possess all tools required of this level.
  • Understand the basic fundamentals of CNC controls. 
  • Ability to use MDMS download software and the Oracle shop floor programs.
  • Understands techniques of chucking and holding devices used with proper metal removal feeds / speeds.
  • Able to use precision measuring instruments: micrometers, dial calipers, Vernier scales, protractor, and squares, plug gages, and bore gages.
 
The ability to run ALL or some of the following equipment—
  • Manual Shaft Grinder
  • Manual Mill Machines
  • Manual Engine Lathe
  • Manual Drill Press
  • CNC Small Lathe 10”/12” Chuck
  • CNC Machining Center w/Rotary AXIS
  • CNC Machining Center
 
 
CNC Machine Operator Qualifications and Requirements 
  • Show capability to learn job by O.J.T
  • Show ability to work as part of a team safely
  • HS education or equivalent
  • Understanding and following instructions
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
