CNC Machine Programmer and Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Drill Machine Operator for a metal supplier based in Alpharetta, GA. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as interpreting blueprints, programing milling machines, maintaining machinery, and other related duties.
Pay Rate:
Starting at $24.00 an hour, Based on Experience.
Schedule and Hours:
Monday thru Friday, 7:00am to 3:00pm
Some overtime may be mandatory.
CNC Machine Programmer and Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Read technical blueprints and program CNC machines using SolidWorks and FeatureCAM for precise machining instructions.
- Set up and operate the Haas VF-8 / 40 CNC milling machine, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
- Adjust machine settings and calibrate equipment to meet product specifications.
- Conduct quality checks and first inspections to ensure compliance with design and quality standards.
- Perform regular maintenance on CNC machines and manage scrap material to maintain a clean and efficient workspace.
- Other duties as assigned.
CNC Machine Programmer and Operator Job Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- At least one year of previous cnc machine operating and coding experience or combination of schooling and experience.
- Previous experience programing CAD and CAM software for CNC machinery.
- Strong mechanical background and previous machine maintenance experience is highly preferred
- Understand and practice safety policies and procedures.
- Drug screening and background checks are required.
- Lifting assessment is required.
