CNC Machinist
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and experienced CNC Machinist to join a dynamic team in Louisa, VA. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the set-up and operation of CNC lathes and milling machines, as well as proficiency in reading blueprints. If you have strong problem-solving skills, have excellent attention to detail, and are committed to maintaining high-quality standards, we encourage you to apply.
Pay Rate
Up to $30.00 per hour, based on experience

7 am-3:30 pm
CNC Machinist Duties & Responsibilities
• Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines for various machining operations; adjust machine settings for optimal performance.
• Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations, dimensions, and tolerances; ensure accuracy in tasks.
• Inspect finished products using precision measuring instruments; adjust to maintain high-quality standards.
• Perform routine maintenance on CNC equipment; troubleshoot and resolve machine performance and product quality issues.
• Adhere to safety protocols and company policies; maintain a clean and organized work area.
CNC Machinist Qualifications & Requirements
• Experienced in setting up and operating CNC lathes and milling machines.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings.
• Skilled with precision measuring instruments like calipers and micrometers.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and understanding of machining principles.
• Capable of working independently or as part of a team, with technical training in CNC machining preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods, lift/carry materials, and possess strong manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
