CNC OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Skilled CNC Operators for a company based in Clanton, AL. In this position you will be creating parts and assemblies derived from sheet stock by way of CNC fabrication for the marine industry, bus industry, motor vehicle industry, as well as the military mobile command industry.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Thursday, no Fridays 5:00am to 3:00pm (could work till 4/5pm)
CNC OPERATOR- Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare and Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate CNC machines to perform various tasks like drilling, grinding, and milling.
- Read Blueprints and Drawings: Understand specifications of the task at hand by reading blueprints, mechanical drawings, and translating instructions into computer commands.
- Load Materials: Prepare and load raw materials and parts onto the machines.
- Test Runs: Conduct test runs to ensure machines produce outputs according to specifications.
- Monitor and Adjust Machines: Supervise the machines during operation and make necessary adjustments to improve results.
- Inspect Finished Products: Measure and inspect finished products to ensure they meet requirements.
CNC OPERATOR-Qualifications and Requirements
Proven experience as a CNC operator.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in operating CNC machinery and tooling, as well as precision measurement tools.
- Blueprint Reading: Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
- Computer Skills: Basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM software.
- Attention to Detail: Keen eye for detail and strong mechanical aptitude.
- Physical Demands: Ability to handle physical demands such as lifting heavy materials and standing for long periods.
