CNC Programmer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a CNC Programmer for a company based in North Houston, Tx.
Pay Rate
$30.00 - $45.00

Schedule and Hours
Monday – Friday 10:00pm – 6:00am
Saturdays are Mandatory (if needed)
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Develop CNC programs using CAM software or manual coding techniques based on engineering drawings and specifications.
• Set up and operate CNC machines such as mills and lathes.
• Analyze blueprints, sketches, and work orders to determine the most efficient machining process and sequence.
• Select the appropriate cutting tools, speeds, and feeds for each operation.
• Troubleshoot programming and machining issues to ensure product quality and efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineers and production team members to optimize manufacturing processes and resolve design or production challenges.
• Document and maintain accurate records of CNC programs, tooling, and machine setups.
• Train and mentor junior CNC operators on programming techniques and best practices.
• Stay updated on advancements in CNC technology and machining methods to improve processes and capabilities continuously
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
• High school diploma/GED or Equivalent.
• Creating and modifying and optimizing the G code.
• Read and Interpret blueprints.
• Knowledge with Mastercam program
• Familiarity with CAD software for both mechanical and electrical design (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD, EPLAN).
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong communication and project management skills.
• Previous knowledge and experience needed but not required.
