CNC Saw Operator
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working CNC Saw Operator for a company based in Elmwood, LA. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for fabricating metals of all shapes and grades to customers’ specifications.
Pay Rate
$16.00 - $18.50 per hour based on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
CNC Saw Operator Duties and Responsibilities
- Operate forklift in an indoor warehouse, experience preferred.
- Cut metal with a hydraulic shear, cold saw, and fully automatic robotic band saw.
- Accurate measurement with calipers, tape measures and rapid conversion between fractions and decimals.
- Maintain a clean warehouse environment by assisting in stock control, receiving, and inventory processing.
- Acknowledge and respond in a timely fashion to all order requests.
- Safely operate the company 21’ flatbed while completing pick-up and deliveries. (Class D license required. Flatbed experience is a plus!) *ONCE HIRED ON PERMANENTLY*
- Build sustainable relationships and trust with customers using open and interactive communication.
- Assist in facility maintenance and labor projects.
CNC Saw Operator Qualifications and Requirements
- The ability to regularly lift 60 pounds unassisted.
- Personal aptitude for Safety and Situational Awareness
- Louisiana Class D Driver’s License with a clean driving record
- Using tape measures to the 1/16, decimals, fractions, and basic math.
- A focus on efficiency, personal productivity, and self-study
- Effective communication and listening skills in-person and over the phone.
- Fluent in written and spoken English
- Bilingual is a bonus.
