CNC Team Lead
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a motivated CNC Team Lead in Cartersville, GA. In this role, you will be responsible for cutting the proper material and color. Will also be loading materials onto each CNC. The lead will evaluate and troubleshoot the machine and tooling problems.
Pay Rate
$ 20.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 4:30 pm.
CNC Team Lead Duties & Responsibilities
• Interpret shop drawings to determine sequence and methods of cutting, size of material, equipment to be used.
• Ensure that all corporate safety procedures for personnel and equipment in the department are followed.
• Responsible for organization that meets all OSHA, UL Standards and Fire Code Regulations.
• Ensure that all hazmat’s are kept in accordance with EPA Standards.
• Maintain all equipment properly.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Maintain communication with CNC Cutting Lead in a timely manner.
• Interpret shop drawings and cut sheets to ensure that all work meets approved drawings.
• Ability to operate forklift and safely handle materials.
• Ensure the CNC machine tables are free of spent ACM or chips prior to loading the next sheet.
• Ensure all CNC machines are up to maintenance specifications and in perfect working condition.
• Perform preventative maintenance on the CNC machines as directed in the CNC operating and maintenance manual.
• Perform daily maintenance on the CNCs per specifications.
CNC Team Lead Qualifications & Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 2 years in manufacturing, service environment or similar field
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Office Suite, and Word
• Good Communication and interpersonal skill
