EXPERIENCED CARPENTER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Experienced Carpenter for a company based in Pelham, AL. You will be a concrete form carpenter working for a company that contributes to America’s infrastructure such as bridges and other structures.
Pay Rate
$16.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6 00 am to 3 30 pm.
Carpenter Duties and Responsibilities
•Will be building molds that contain wet concrete that hardens into forms according to a plan. They also construct and disassemble from work of metal and wood fixtures.
•As a form carpenter, you consult drawings, measure, and cut wood to shape the molds and position them so that the concrete can dry after pouring.
•Concrete form carpenters can build structures for a residential home, work in commercial buildings, and take part in highway construction.
•With enough experience, you can take part in industrial projects like building bridges. Your job duties entail learning how to use hand and power tools to get the work done as quickly and safely as possible.
Carpenter Qualifications and Requirements
•Great work ethic and impeccable attendance.
•Able to read a tape measure correctly
•Able to read and understand work orders and complex instructions.
•Familiarity with hand tools and power tools.
•Willing and able to climb multiple stairs throughout the shift.
•Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
•Preferred – Experience working in a manufacturing environment and prior carpentry experience.
