Automation Personnel Services is looking for an experience, and knowledgeable Certified Public Accountant for a company based in Fredericksburg, VA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax preparation (required), accounting principles, and a commitment to delivering exceptional service to clients. This role involves analyzing financial information, preparing tax returns, and providing guidance on tax strategies and planning.

Pay Rate
91k annual salary including bonus

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm.
Certified Public Accountant Duties and Responsibilities
• Provide tax planning and preparation services for individuals and businesses, including corporate, partnership, and individual tax returns.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant accounting standards.
• Prepare financial statements related to tax matters, such as income statements and balance sheets.
• Conduct periodic financial reviews and audits to identify discrepancies or areas for improvement.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local tax regulations.

Certified Public Accountant Qualifications and Requirements
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) designation is required.
• Bachelors degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or related roles.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, etc.) and Microsoft Office Suite
• Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and accuracy.
