Coating and Blasting Technician
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Coating and Blasting Technician for a company located in Spartanburg, South Carolina. In this position, you will be responsible for applying protective coatings and performing abrasive blasting on various surfaces. The ideal candidate will have experience with surface preparation, coating application techniques, and the use of blasting equipment to ensure the durability and quality of the finished product. Pay Rate $17.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 6:00 am to 2:30 pm.
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate sandblast equipment to prepare surfaces for painting, coating or other treatments.
• Ability to inspect surfaces closely and ensure the quality of the coatings and blasting is up
• Regular cleaning and upkeep of the equipment to ensure contaminants affect the coating or blasting process.
• Ability to operate and maintain sandblasting and coating equipment.
