Assembly Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Assembly Technician for a company based in Houston, Tx.
Pay Rate
$15 per hour.
Schedule and Hours
Monday – Friday 8 to 5 pm
Assembly Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Produces components by assembling parts and subassemblies.
• Reads and deciphers schematics, blueprints, and assembly instruction.
• Positions or aligns component and parts, either manually or with assistance.
• Uses hand tools or machines to assemble parts
• Conducts quality control checks.
• Cleans and maintain work area and equipment, including tools.
• Maintain inventory by checking stock to determine supply levels and reporting results to supervisor.
Assembly Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• High School diploma or GED.
• Previous Manufacturing experience
• Mechanical and technical skills
• Physical stamina and Strength
• Focus on quality control
• color vision is required due to electrical and electronic products that include color – coded wiring
• Dexterity and hand-eye coordination, including the ability to grasp, manipulate, and assemble parts and components that are often very smalls or heavy
• Safety management mindset
