Custom Cabinet Designer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working Custom Cabinet Designer for a cabinet company based in Madison, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for designing and planning custom cabinets and storage systems.
Pay Rate
$20.00-$30.00 per hour.
Schedule and Hours
Flexible work schedule
Monday – Friday 7:00AM-4:00PM
Or
Monday – Thursday 8:00AM-5:00PM or 9:00AM to 6:00PM
Custom Cabinet Designer Duties and Responsibilities
• Consulting with clients to determine their needs and preferences, as well as with other professionals such as builders, interior designers, and project managers
• Creating detailed drawings and 3D images of cabinet designs using 2020 Design and Mozaik software packages and cabinet part cut-files in Mozaik to be used on the CNC router
• Preparing and presenting design concepts and estimated to clients for approval
• Working closely with the shop team to ensure feasibility in cabinet designs
• Calculating material usage and preparing material orders for purchasing department
• Providing the shop with construction drawings and other pertinent job information
Custom Cabinet Designer Qualifications and Requirements
• Proficiency in computer-aided design software 2020 Design and Mozaik
• Strong artistic and design skills, with an eye for detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Knowledge of cabinet construction techniques and materials with familiarity with industry standards and building codes
