Billing Specialist
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a Billing Specialist for a company based in Hanover, MD. This is a full-time position offering a dynamic work environment with opportunities for growth and development. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced setting.
Pay Rate
$21.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm
Job Title Duties and Responsibilities
- Act as a backup to the Billing Clerk, assisting with day-to-day billing processes.
- Enter billing information accurately into customer portals and internal systems.
- Follow up on open service tickets in customer portals to ensure timely processing and resolution.
- Provide support to the Accounts Receivable (A/R) department by assisting with collection calls when necessary.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all billing-related transactions.
- Assist with other billing-related administrative tasks as needed.
Job Title Qualifications and Requirements
- Previous experience in billing, accounts receivable, or similar administrative roles preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers and internal teams.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Excellent problem-solving and follow-up skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information confidentially.
