Industrial Motor Control Specialist
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Industrial Motor Control Specialist for a company based in Canton, GA that produces industrial control products. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for performing an array of duties such as assisting the sales team in achieving their goals, providing customer service, data entry, and other duties as assigned.
Pay Rate
$26 per hour, based on experience.
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 9:05am – 6:05pm
*This is not a remote position.*
Industrial Motor Control Specialist Duties and Responsibilities
- Customer communication via calls, chats, and emails.
- Sales order processing and approval.
- Handling drop shipments and back ordered items.
- Basic technical support for various products including motor control, VFDs, PLCs, temperature control, panel meters, timing relays, and enclosures.
- Initiating return authorizations.
- Product knowledge and guiding customers to relevant information.
- Follow-up calls and second-level order approval.
- Technical proficiency in industrial control products.
- Providing product recommendations and sizing guidance.
- Full understanding of return authorization processes.
- Strategic customer assistance.
- Training assistance for customer service representatives.
- Providing product training for customer service and production teams
Industrial Motor Control Specialist Qualifications and Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Previous call center customer service experience required.
- Previous experience with motor control, VFDs, PLCs, temperature control, panel meters, timing relays, and enclosures
- Proficient with office equipment and computers.
- Understanding electrical principles and formulas
- Efficiency in troubleshooting customer issues
- Drug-screening and background checks are required.
- Required to complete a lifting assessment.
