Dessert Quality Testers
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Dessert Quality Testers for a large dessert manufacturer based in Kennesaw, GA. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as performing product and environmental testing, preparing corrective action reports, conducting audits, and supporting quality and safety initiatives and other related duties.
Pay Rate:
$19.00 an hour, with great overtime opportunites
Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Friday, 6:00 pm-6:00 am
Dessert Quality Tester Duties and Responsibilities
• Audit facilities to ensure compliance with food safety, GMPs, and sanitation standards, addressing any issues found.
• Sample and test equipment, air, water, and facilities for sanitation and environmental safety.
• Test raw materials and finished products for quality, safety, and compliance.
• Create reports with corrective actions based on sanitation and monitoring results.
• Coordinate and ship samples for external lab testing on time.
• Communicate issues and provide support to maintain product quality and safety. Assist in keeping the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
• Other duties as assigned.
Dessert Quality Tester Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months in QA or food manufacturing preferred; micro lab or HACCP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, email) and ability to interpret data and prepare reports.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and accept responsibility.
• Drug screening, background check, and in-office lifting assessment is required.
