Deisel Mechanic Shop Labor with Forklift
 
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a skilled and experienced Deisel Mechanic Shop Laborer with Forklift in Harvey, LA for a reputable dealer of heavy and light construction equipment, as well as power systems for various industries. 
 
Pay Rate 
$16-$20 per hour.
 
Schedule and Hours 
Monday through Friday 
6:00 am until 3:00 pm. 
 
Deisel Mechanic Shop Labor with Forklift Duties and Responsibilities 
  • Basic mechanical skills
  • Would need his or her own basic hand tools (Wrenches, Pliers, scraper, hammer, sockets & Ratchet)
  • Washing diesel engine parts
  • Buffing diesel engine parts
  • Sand blasting of parts
  • Painting of diesel engines and other parts
  • Emptying of shop trash
  • Sweeping of shop 
  • Experience driving a forklift
  • Experience using overhead crane
  • Must have reliable transportation
 
Deisel Mechanic Shop Labor with Forklift Qualifications and Requirements 
  • HS education or equivalent
  • Self-starter with limited supervision prioritize jobs.
  • Works well with others
  • Does not have a problem taking orders from shop mechanics for direction 
  • Willing to work night and weekends
