Dispatcher 
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Dispatcher for a company based in Baton Rouge, LA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to …  to respond to customer inquiries, resolve service-related issues, and handle incoming calls and emails. The ideal candidate will have experience in trucking/logistics, as well as customer service experience dealing directly with the customer.     

Pay Rate  
$16-$17/hour 

Schedule and Hours  
Monday- Friday 08:00am-5:00pm 

Dispatcher Duties and Responsibilities  

• Schedule and dispatch drivers to appropriate locations based on customer needs and load availability.  

• Communicate with drivers to provide route updates, resolve issues, and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.  

• Respond to customer inquiries regarding shipments, delivery times, and service issues.  

• Coordinate with warehouses, freight brokers, and shippers to optimize routes and load efficiency.  

• Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities, driver logs, and load details.  

• Assist in resolving transportation delays, driver concerns, and other logistical challenges.  

• Resolve customer complaints and service-related issues promptly and professionally.   

• Maintain positive relationships with customers, carriers, and vendors.   

• Handle incoming calls and emails regarding dispatch, delivery confirmations, and load availability.  

Dispatcher Qualifications and Requirements  

• High school diploma or equivalent, required 

• Solid computer skills, required 

• Solid communication skills, required
