Job Description
FINISHING TEAM LEADER
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a Finishing Team Leader for a company based in Tuscaloosa, AL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for overseeing and organizing the flow of the products to be prepared for and to receive the finish (paint or stain) as well as assist in finishing workflow and reviewing finished work to meet or exceed quality standards.

$20.00 to $22.00 per hour

Monday through Friday, 6 30 am to 3 30 pm.

Finishing Team Leader Duties and Responsibilities
• Act in a Team Lead Supervisor role for support to Finishers in making sure the daily job functions are successfully completed.
• Prepare parts or products by hand to receive finish.
• Able to handle detailing and organizational work function of products such as (Moldings, Running Trim, Countertops, Casework/Cabinetry, Solid wood pieces) along with custom items (desks, benches, banquettes and face frames).
• Applies uniform coats of finish.
• Act in a Team Lead Supervisor role for support to Finishers in making sure the daily job functions are successfully completed.
• Prepare parts or products by hand to receive finish.
• Able to handle detailing and organizational work function of products such as (Moldings, Running Trim, Countertops, Casework/Cabinetry, Solid wood pieces) along with custom items (desks, benches, banquettes and face frames).

• Knowledge of Finishing (painting, staining, types of wood, etc.) required.
• Two years of experience in a supervision role in a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and leadership skills.
• Ability to receive and communicate effectively when Finishers present information, questions, or discrepancies for resolution.
• Must be able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals, hand and paper, and calculator.
• Knowledge of Finishing (painting, staining, types of wood, etc.) required.
• Two years of experience in a supervision role in a related field.
• Strong attention to detail and leadership skills.
