Floor Care Technician
Automation Personnel Services is seeking a dedicated and skilled Floor Care Technician to join a dynamic team working throughout the Charlotte area. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various floor care equipment and performing tasks related to floor maintenance. The position involves traveling to different worksite locations, but not multiple locations in a single day, so candidates must have dependable transportation.

Floor Care Technician Duties & Responsibilities
- Operate floor care equipment, including low-speed and high-speed buffers (electric or propane) and walk-behind or ride-on floor scrubbers.
- Perform floor maintenance tasks such as stripping and waxing floors, sweeping, dust mopping, wet mopping, and using a wet vacuum and doodlebug for detailed care.
- Load and unload equipment from fleet vehicles, and travel to various worksites using a personal vehicle.
- Lift and carry equipment weighing 50-90 pounds.
- Follow directions and execute tasks efficiently while working well both in groups and independently.
- Exhibit strong leadership skills and maintain a positive attitude.
Floor Care Technician Qualifications & Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- Proficiency in math and reading and good communication skills
- Physical stamina and ability to perform demanding tasks
- Positive attitude and readiness to work
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Ability to adapt to different work environments and tasks
Transportation Requirements
Candidates must have their own reliable transportation to travel directly to various job sites. Work will not require traveling to multiple locations in one day.
