Job Description
Food Quality Inspector
Automation Personnel Services is looking for Food Quality Inspectors for a large dessert manufacturer based in Kennesaw, GA. In this job, you will be responsible for performing an array of duties such as performing product and environmental testing, preparing corrective action reports, conducting audits, and supporting quality and safety initiatives and other related duties.
Pay Rate:
$15.50 an hour
Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Friday, 6:00pm-6:00am

Food Quality Inspector Duties and Responsibilities
• Check food products to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
• Collect samples of raw materials and finished products for testing.
• Monitor cleanliness and sanitation in the facility.
• Record findings and report any issues to supervisors.
• Help maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Perform other related tasks as needed.
Food Quality Inspector Job Requirements and Qualifications:
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 6 months of quality control with a food manufacturing facility is required; micro lab or HACCP experience is a plus.
• Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office, Excel, email) and ability to interpret data and prepare reports.
• Ability to work independently, follow procedures, and accept responsibility.
• Drug screening, background check, and in-office lifting assessment is required.
