Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.

Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Assist shipping and receiving unloading trucks and checking in merchandise
• Operate forklifts safely and efficiently, following company policies and procedures.
• Load and unload building materials from trucks, racks, and other storage areas, ensuring proper handling to prevent damage.
• Transport materials to designated locations within the facility, maintaining inventory accuracy and organization.

• Regularly lift and/or move objects that weigh more than 100 lbs. (with the proper lifting equipment)
• Position requires working in a warehouse environment, as well as outside in the Pipeyard. Will be exposed to all weather conditions – heat, cold and rain.
• Inspect and maintain forklifts regularly, reporting any issues or malfunctions to the appropriate personnel for repair.
Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• 3 - 5 years of warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving
• 3 - 5 years of warehouse-related experience in shipping and receiving
• 3+ years of forklift experience
• Forklift Certification required
• Experience handling pipe (both carbon and stainless steel) a plus
• Excellent work ethic: ability to work self-directed and as a flexible team player
• Ability to understand and follow safety protocols and operating instructions to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Physical strength and stamina to lift and move heavy loads safely and efficiently.
• Attention to detail and good hand-eye coordination to maneuver equipment in tight spaces and navigate busy warehouse environments.
