FORKLIFT OPERATOR
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a skilled and reliable Forklift Operator for a client in Columbia, TN. In this position, you will be responsible for operating forklifts in an environment for a company offering significant growth potential within the company. Pay Rate
$16.50-$17.00 per hour based on shift
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7:30 am-4:00 pm, with overtime as needed
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Operate forklifts to transport brick and other related products to designated locations.
• Load and unload goods from trucks and other vehicles.
• Ensure accurate placement and organization of materials in storage areas.
• Perform routine inspections and maintenance of forklifts to ensure safe and efficient operation.
• Adhere to safety standards and regulations to prevent accidents and injuries.
• Collaborate with team members to optimize workflow and productivity.
• Maintain clean and orderly outdoor storage areas.
Forklift Operator Qualifications and Requirements
• Valid Driver’s License
• Proven experience as a forklift driver.
• Willingness to work in a variety of weather conditions.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent understanding of safety procedures and regulations.
• Good physical condition and the ability to lift up to 75lbs consistently.
