FORKLIFT OPERATORS
Automation Personnel Services is looking for dependable and experienced Forklift Operators for a client based in Bartlett, TN. For this role, we are seeking applicants with experience working with all types of forklifts – sit-down, stand-up, reach, and electric pallet jacks – to work in a climate-controlled environment where the safety and well-being of the employees are top priorities. Pay Rate
$17.00 first shift
$18.00 second shift
Schedule and Hours
First shift: Monday through Friday, 9:00 am to 5:30 pm.
Second shift: Monday through Friday, 3:00 am to 11:00 pm.
Forklift Operator Duties and Responsibilities
• Safely operate forklifts to move, load, and unload materials within a warehouse or industrial facility.
• Inspect forklifts before each shift, checking for mechanical issues, safety equipment, and fluid levels.
• Adhere to all company safety policies and OSHA regulations to ensure a safe working environment.
• Organize and manage inventory by accurately recording the location and quantity of materials moved.
• Perform routine maintenance and report any damage or malfunctions of the forklift to supervisors.
Mechanic Qualifications and Requirements
• Experience operating sit-down, stand-up, reach forklifts, and electric pallet jacks
• Lifting and moving heavy materials during each shift.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety standards.
• Drug and background checks required.
Job Type
Full-time, temporary-to-hire. Eligible for full-time status after 520 hours.
