General Laborer
Automation Personnel Services is looking for a hard-working General Laborer for a company based in Fredericksburg, VA. In this role, you will have the opportunity to primarily be responsible for safely loading and unloading various types of junk, debris, and unwanted materials.
Pay Rate
$ 16.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday 7:00am – 3:30pm
General Laborer Duties and Responsibilities
- Cleaning and preparing worksites: Removing debris, trash, and hazardous materials to ensure a safe and clean environment.
- Loading and unloading materials: Handling and transporting materials like cement, tools, and equipment.
- Operating machinery: Using machinery and heavy equipment under supervision.
- Assisting skilled tradespeople.
General Laborer Qualifications and Requirements:
- Physical Stamina and Strength: Ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting heavy objects, standing for long periods, and working in various weather conditions.
- Attention to Detail: Ensuring tasks are completed accurately and safely.
- Ability to Follow Instructions: Understanding and executing instructions from supervisors and skilled tradespeople.
- Safety Awareness: Commitment to following safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries.
- Teamwork: Ability to work well with others and assist in various tasks as needed.
