Hoist Chain Up

The Hoist Chain Up will be responsible for performing a variety of duties with respect to the
operations of the warehouse and modifying hand and electric hoists by performing the following duties.
Hoist Chain Up Job Duties and Requirements:
-Reconfigure hand and electric hoists as required.
-Change control and power cables. (Involves 575/460/230 and 115 voltage)---Load testing hoists.
-Change voltage on electric hoists.
-Add and remove chain by customer s requirements on all hoists.
-Change suspensions to suit customer requirements.
-Use CMBIS to enter records and process sales orders.
-Operate forklift to store, move or load material in trucks.
-Cycle counting inventory to maintain accuracy.
-Other duties as assigned
The individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily on a consistent basis.
Excellent organizational skills.
Must have a mechanical and electrical background.
Ability to work independently and be a self-starter.
Ability to communicate professionally with others in person, telephone, and/or via email.
Solid computer skills.

High School Diploma or equivalent.
Ability to communicate, both written and spoken word, effectively and professionally.
Ability to read and interpret written and/or verbal instructions.
Ability to count and do basic math without the assistance of a calculator.
Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must have basic computer skills including use of RF scanner.
Further training in CMBIS would be necessary.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Individual must be able to obtain tow motor license for both sit-down and stand-up lifts.
The work environment varies by geographical location, but the employee can expect to be exposed to: heat, cold, moderate levels of noise, dust, mechanical parts, motorized equipment, and/or low lighting conditions.
Pay Rate: $15 Per Hour plus great benefits
