Industrial Maintenance Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Industrial Maintenance Technician to work for a company based in Tampa, FL. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing manufacturing machinery.
Pay Rate:
$30.00 - $36.00 per hour; depending on experience
Schedule and hours
Monday to Thursday from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM
Friday from 08:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Industrial Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Maintain machinery and mechanical equipment by completing preventive maintenance to conveyor belts, gearboxes, etc.
- Read manuals to understand equipment and controls.
- Perform tests and operate machinery to ensure it functions properly.
- Receive and review work schedules and orders from planner/scheduler.
- Utilize COGZ Software to control the maintenance department and reduce breakdowns and downtime.
- Maintain inventory control by tracking parts signed out from the stockroom.
- Ensure efficient maintenance service for production areas.
Industrial Maintenance Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- 3+ years of Industrial Maintenance experience
- 3+ year of mechanical and electrical experience
- Experienced in general and preventative maintenance/repair of industrial production equipment, buildings, and facilities, including analysis and diagnostics.
- Experience with MS. Office and COGZ Maintenance Software.
- Able to read and interpret diagrams, charts, schematics, and documents.
