$26.00 per hour

Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 8 00 am to 5 00 pm; must be flexible.

Industrial Vehicle Maintenance Technician Duties and Responsibilities
- Performs check-ins when heavy-duty industrial vehicles are returned to the shop.
- Cleans, pressure washes, and prepares heavy-duty industrial vehicles for repairs and details vehicles for rent-ready status.
- Perform full-service maintenance on all equipment/vehicles, diagnoses, and repairs most mechanical problems.
- Completes and maintains equipment/vehicles service records including damage repair, preventative maintenance, and warranty processing.
- Keeps track of rental equipment (inventory) and coordinates deliveries, pick-ups and service calls with customers.
- Operates company vehicle safely and maintains a valid driver’s license and excellent driving record free from points.
- Keeps records and maintains company vehicle, including washing, oil changes and general safety inspection; any defect or variation from normal performance should be reported to the supervisor.
- Communicate professionally with customers, managers, and sales engineers to schedule deliveries, pick-ups, and service calls.
- Delivers and installs rented equipment; trains authorized operator (and/or customer) on safe use of equipment.
- Must be on call for emergency service and is available on a rotating schedule for emergency service response calls on weekends and evenings.
Industrial Vehicle Maintenance Technician Qualifications and Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required, some trade school or equivalent training desired.
- 4-5 years of mechanical experience with IC engines, propane, electrical and hydraulic.
- Prior experience maintaining and troubleshooting heavy-duty industrial vehicles.
- Prior floor care equipment experience is strongly preferred.
- Will need to provide mechanic’s tools of trade.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to prioritize work assignments.
- Ability to work independently and be flexible regarding work assignments.
- Must possess a high degree of safety-awareness.
