Injection Molding Technician Job Summary
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Injection Molding Technician in Garland, Texas. In this job, you will be responsible for maintenance to include diagnosing, performing preventative and corrective maintenance. This role will be cross trained in our Process/Maintenance Technician Blow Molding role. This position supports process improvement and new technology processes to achieve goals for profitability, safety and ergonomics. In addition, you will be responsible for assisting the Chief Engineer and Management team with other projects as assigned.
Pay Rate:
Tech Trainee - $18.00 to $22.99
Tech I - $23.00 to $28.99
Tech II - $29.00 to $33.99
Tech III - $34.00 to $37.99
Schedule and Hours:
Monday through Friday 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Injection Molding Technician Duties and Responsibilities:
- Set up, operated, and adjusted injection molding machines to produce plastic components according to precise specifications.
- Monitored production processes, making real-time adjustments to enhance product quality and maintain optimal efficiency.
- Troubleshot and repaired machine malfunctions, significantly reducing downtime and maintaining a smooth production flow.
- Collaborated with engineering and quality control teams to improve molding processes and address any production issues.
- Performed routine maintenance on machines, ensuring compliance with safety standards and minimizing production disruptions.
- Documented key production data such as cycle times, scrap rates, and material usage, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.
Control Panel Technician Requirements and Qualifications:
- Injection Molding: Machine Setup & Operation, Process Optimization, Troubleshooting, Die Casting
- Maintenance: Routine Maintenance, Repair, Safety Compliance
- Maintenance: Routine Maintenance, Repair, Safety Compliance
- Must be able to operate material handling equipment
- Ability to work overtime and weekends as required
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, set priorities, identify problems, address problems and meet deadlines
- Must be able to become forklift certified within 60 days
- Background check and drug test required.
