Installation Technician
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an Installation Technician for a company based in Fayette, AL. In this role, you will have the opportunity to work with a company that produces durable and high quality products that are used at construction sites around the country.
Pay Rate
$14.00 per hour
Schedule and Hours
Monday through Friday, 7 00 am to 4 00 pm.
Installation Technician Duties and Responsibilities
• Use a jib crane, overhead crane, slings, fork truck, and/or manual lifting.
• Select, identify, and locate components accurately and correctly according to all work orders and instructions.
• Cut as needed using a torch, portable plasma cutter, band saw, and iron workers.
• Grind and buff as needed using an angle grinder.
• Drill bolt holes as required using a drill press, cordless drill, and floor drill.
• Install hardware as needed in accordance with all quality standards, work instructions, and work orders.
• Sand, prep, and apply touch-up paint to welded and installed components.
• Perform simple repairs as needed.
• Perform all work in accordance to all posted, written, and verbally communicated time limits.
Installation Technician Qualifications and Requirements
• High School Diploma or GED
• Basic mechanical experience and knowledge of tools.
• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure and read and comprehend work order specifications.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to climb, stand for 10 hours, and work weekends and overtime.
